There is a day in the year that I like it very much since I was a child. New year´s day is celebrated the first day in the new year, january 1st. But the celebration and its setouts begin the day before, december 31th. All that preparation for receiving the new year is something that I like very much. This festivity it dates back to Ancient Babylon, 4000 years ago. New Year start with the first crescent, in spring. Others countries celebrate New Year in different days. January 1st was established at the time of the Romans, in the gobverment of Julio Cesar.
Additionally to preparing dinner, I like a tradition in particular. I write all my wishes in a paper, ncluding objetives and personal goals that I propose myself. Then, I bury the paper in some place, or also I burn it, and throw the ashes from above (I live in a department. The building have 27 levels, so I go to the rooftop).
I like New Year´s day because there is a desire to improve the next year. Be a better person, do good actions and amend the mistakes from the past.

My favorite photograph
When I was in school, my teacher spoke to us about Nazca lines. This lines have an unknown origin. People think that lines was created by aliens, but that it´s just a supposition. I like very much this mysterious things, so I decided to search some photos on the internet after that class. The photos was published by Erich Von Däniken in 1968 in the book Remembers from future. I choose one in particular, called The Astronaut, that is the most controversial figure of all. According to a myth from the civilization of Lake Titicaca, say that the astronaut is a "being coming from the stars" whose intention was improve a savage giant race of the past by miscegenation.
Interesting, isn't? A lot of amateurs say that the image is a proof of aliens existence in earth. Others more sceptic say that is just a representation of a man. What do you think about?

The band I adore
I don't know about this band very much. But I love the vast majority of their music. What can I say about them? It's called "The Verve". It is a British rock band formed in the 90's. It started with psychedelic sound, and then they focused on alternative rock. A drugs abuse and internal conflicts made The Verve broke up many times. But in 2007 The Verve met again to play their last album "Forth". Now the members group are working on their own projects. I like this band because the music is very original. And I feel identifyed myself with some songs. One of their most famous songs is "Bitter sweet symphony", a success in the 90's. Here is the video for you to see:
I like this song very much, but this is not my favourite song of The Verve. My favourite song is Love is Noise. I can listen to it three, four times and I don't get bored. Enjoy it!!!:

My favorite piece of technology
First, I must say that I`m not a fan of technology, but I admit that technology is very necessary in these days. It`s hard for me to choose just one, because I use the computer and cellphone all the time. But if I have to choose one of them, probably it will be the computer.
What a computer is? It is an electronic device that carries out with a lot of functions like store documents and presentations, save and reproduce your music, save photos, surfing on the internet, among other functions.
I got my first computer when I was six years old. Now that computer is very old-fashioned, but in the past it was the newest. Then, in 2011 my father gave me a new computer for Christmas. This time it was only for me. The last one I shared with my big brother.
I use my computer every day in the week. Generally I write or read documents for the university on it. Or sometimes I watch videos on Youtube. When I have some time free I play games or write something.
I like it because it serves to everything, either academics stuffs or just for fun.
A life without computers? Maybe life will be boring, but on the other hand it would be great, because people just focus on technology in these days, and don`t see whats happening around. There are little things that just happens one time in life, and people lost their time watching a screen.

Why did I choose this career
When I was a child, I always wanted to be a veterinarian. I liked pets very much, especially dogs and ducks. But the only idea that sometimes pets needed a surgery in very serious situacions, made my hair stand on end. So I forgot the veterinarian matter and I put my attention in ballet. I went to the Municipal Theatre of Santiago when I was seven years old. But the request was very high so I leave it one year later.
When I applied to university I put psychology in the second option. I was very interested on psychoanalysis since highschool.
I decided for anthropology because I want to travel to Egypt some day, as a archaeologist. I want to know everything about Ancient Egypt and his funeral ceremonies. Also I want to study the same in other cultures. I think that anthropology, or better said, archaeology, can bring to me the answers that I looking for.
This is my first year in University. I can`t say very much at the moment, but something that I must mention is the practical activity. I love it. Put all the archaeology pieces in order, and apply all the perspectives of archaeology was very stimulating.
I want to study all the ancient cultures from a religious perspective. Work on the field and share with people of diferent countries. But above everything I want to answer my questions in my travels.

This is his third year. In my free time I play the violin. I don`t go to an orchestra for the moment but I`m looking for one, so I hope I find an orchestra that adjust to my schedule of university. I like to write stories too. Now I`m writting a fantasy story. Is like a cliché, but who knows, maybe people will like it.
